Engineering Technician An experienced Engineering Technician is required to work in a busy, fast moving New Product Introduction team for a leading manufacturing company based in Havant, Hampshire. You will be responsible for the testing of products at the early stage of their lifecycle. You will have knowledge of analogue and digital electronics including micro processor based systems. Your responsibilities will include system assembly, test and configuration along with the debug of failing parts. With experience gained within an electronics environment your system level test experience will be complemented with good component level failure analysis skills. You will also have strong experience in PCB test and assembly processes ideally with knowledge of IPC610 requirements in soldering. Self motivated individuals are required who can work under their own initiative you will be tenacious and have an inquisitive nature with a natural drive to complete tasks and ensure the highest quality standards within your work. You will be educated to a HND/Degree level in Electronics, have experience in a Test Environment with Debugging skills and have exposure to PCB inspection and assemble processing. You will be conversant in using analysis tools such as Logic Analysers and Oscilloscopes.
