Mechanical Maintenance Engineer A Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Fitter) is required on a permanent basis for a leading manufacturing business who is involved in FMCG manufacturing. The company is paying up to £30,000 for a double day shift plus contributory pension. You will be responsible for the mechanical maintenance of the production, packaging and plant equipment ensuring that manufacturing and production is kept at a maximum. You will be responsible for fault finding and repair of production and packaging equipment being hands on in all repairs and be working with a number of mechanical systems such Hydraulics, Pneumatic and Packaging systems. You will have experience of welding, fabrication, pneumatics and hydraulics and be able to work on basic electrical problems. You will also follow detailed PPM's, help set new production lines and support the installation of new production equipment. You will have experience in Mechanical Engineering ideally apprentice trained, have a flexible can do attitude and ideally experience with a clean manufacturing environment such as Pharmaceuticals, Food, FMCG, Electronics, Lide Sciences, Packaging, Paper..Etc. The company would expect to pay up £30,000 for a Double Day Shift pattern, Pension, Good on site facilities, overtime available at busy periods and parking.
