Mechanical Design and Development Engineer A Mechanical Design Engineer is required on a contract basis (6 to 9 months) for a leading Engineering company based in Hampshire, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex equipment used in Electronic Manufacturing. The company is looking to pay up to £25 per hour and you must be available on short notice and be able to demonstrate excellent Mechanical Design skills. You will have Mechanical Engineering Design skills ideally developed within the field of Special Purpose Machinery, Robotics, Automation, Precision motion systems, Instrument or Measurement systems, Manufacturing Machinery, Fabrication, or Injection Moulding environments. You will have 3D CAD modelling skills such as Solidworks, ProE, Inventor and a Degree, HNC, HND in a Mechanical Engineering Discipline. The application of DFMA and FMEA would be an advantage along with key skills such as GD&T and adherence to quality ISO standards.
