Project Leader (Mechanical Engineering)
|
Your role will be to project manager the development of a new range of products and product enhancements, these designs need to take account of manufacturability, cost issues and be produced to deadline. You will have a strong Mechanical Engineering background with experience of Project Management carried out in a Design Environment. The company is paying up to £35,000 plus pension scheme, life assurance and flexi-time and this Mechanical Engineering/Project Leader role is commutable from locations in East and West Sussex, Surrey, West and Mid Kent.
Duties will include agreeing the product development brief, project plan and budget. You will allocate design and development resource to the project and support the design process providing detailed technical reports back to management and suppliers. You will ensure the product meets specification by design evaluation, testing, field trials etc. You will take responsibility for the manufacturing process and associated documentation for each of the products. You will help ensure that the company’s products reach the market with excellent quality and reliability.
You will be motivated by being a project champion who will fight for the project. Technically competent, creative, innovative, result oriented and able to communicate. Ideally you will be degree educated with a qualification related to Mechanical Engineering, an awareness of Electronics, Software and Hardware would be an advantage.
This Test Technician role is Commutable in East Sussex from Hastings, Lewes, Eastbourne, Crowborough, Uckfield, Haywards Heath, Brighton, Burgess Hill, East Grinsted, Hawkhurst, Battle, Hailsham, Tunbridge Well, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge in Kent and Crawley.
