Engineering Manager/Technical Manager We are seeking an experienced Technical Engineering Manager from within an R&D or High Technology Products sector to manage a specialist service department to the design engineering team of a world class organisation which designs and manufactures enabling technology that provides OEM and disk drive manufacturers with data storage products to support high-performance storage and data communication networks. Candidates will have a good higher degree or post graduate qualification in engineering or science with a demonstrable track record of managing high calibre technical teams, combined with operational budget creation and management. This role requires direct management and motivation of a high calibre team of engineers and scientists involved in R&D projects and design support relating to complex software controlled electromechanical equipment A sound understanding of measurement principles and sources of error along with expertise in data analysis, collation, interpretation, reporting and storing.
